Program Details
Our beloved teacher, Lhoppon Rechungpa Rinpoche, resident teacher of the Mipham Shedra Buddhist Meditation Center, has generously decided to offer a monthly Mindfulness Meditation Open House beginning in March to help us deepen and clarify our meditation practice.
Rinpoche has been teaching meditation for many years, including regular Sunday classes. At Mipham Shedra, we also offer a curriculum program with specific meditation requirements. Until now, instructions have primarily been for those who have taken the Refuge and Bodhichitta vows, focusing on Buddhist tradition meditation.
Rinpoche will introduce a basic meditation practice to our community. It will be an all-day workshop open to anyone interested. Rinpoche will guide us through specific practices, answer questions, and lead four 45-minute practice sessions. This workshop will allow all of us, beginners and advanced practitioners, to benefit from meditation practice and will also support practitioners in learning and practicing mindfulness to improve their mental, emotional, and physical health.
