- Dates: Jun 1-2, 2024, 9:00am to 4:00pm MT
- Online and In-Person
- Teacher: Lhoppön Rechungpa Rinpoche
This retreat is open to members of Mipham Shedra, as well as participants in the recent Guhyagarbha Tantra Shedra Course. So, whether you’ve studied the Guhyagarbha Tantra before, or you’re exploring these teachings for the first time, you are welcome to attend.
About this upcoming retreat, Rinpoche says:
“Many of our Sangha have received the ritual empowerment of the Guhygarbha Tantra, allowing them to study this text. But study alone will not make much difference until we utilize this teaching. The final empowerment will only occur when we accomplish some practice and have some experience. Only then will the final empowerment be received. We will accomplish that practice during this retreat, using the manual of Karma Lingpa’s Shitro. Here, the Guhyagarbha Tantra speaks of the fundamental foundation, the intrinsic nature as based on the five aggregates. These five aggregates are presented as the 100 deities. This retreat will provide the opportunity to practice ourselves as these 100 deities. The event is therefore extremely important to complete your empowerment, and your study. Without practice, empowerment and study have little purpose. May you all join me in practicing this teaching together at our Guhyagarbha Tantra retreat.”
