Special Guest Teacher:
We are honored to welcome Venerable Gyurme Delek Rinpoche as our special guest teacher for this celebration.

Gyurme Delek Rinpoche was born in 1973 in Dehra Dun, Northern India, a place known for its spiritual significance. In 1981, at the age of nine, he entered Mindrolling Monastery, one of the most respected and ancient institutions of the Nyingma tradition, where he humbly began his monastic journey.
He was bestowed the Dharma name “Gyurme Delek” by His Holiness the Supreme Dzognang Rinpoche, who founded Mindrolling Monastery in India, a name he has embraced with deep reverence and a sense of responsibility.
From the age of nine, Gyurme Delek Rinpoche devoted himself to the study of Tibetan reading, writing, grammar, liturgical chanting, sacred hand mudras, and the complete range of ritual instruments. Through steady effort and the guidance of his teachers, he gradually came to understand these practices. Alongside this, he also engaged in broader studies of Buddhist philosophy and essential Dharma teachings.
With great humility, and under the guidance of His Holiness Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, he received the complete transmissions, including empowerments, oral teachings, and instructions, of the Precious Treasury of Terma Teachings, a profound lineage within the Ancient Nyingma tradition.
Later, in the presence of His Holiness Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche, he was also entrusted with the complete transmission of the Ancient Nyingma Dharma cycle, including its sacred empowerments and essential meditative instructions.
In the presence of His Holiness Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, he received the complete cycle of empowerments, oral transmissions, and instructions of the Northern Treasures (Jangter) lineage within the Ancient Nyingma tradition.
Under the guidance of the great khenpo and lineage holder, His Eminence Khenpo Thubten Rinpoche, he was also entrusted with the transmission and guidance of the Magical Illusion Peaceful and Wrathful Deities cycle, as well as numerous profound teachings from the classical texts of the inner tradition.
In addition, in the presence of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin and His Eminence the Ngor Luding Khenchen Rinpoche, he received the extensive empowerments, transmissions, and instructions of the Lamdré (Path and its Fruit) system of the Sakya school.
From the year 2001 to 2009, Gyurme Delek Rinpoche undertook nine years of dedicated study at the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute of Higher Buddhist Studies in Mindrolling Monastery, where he completed the full curriculum of the Nine Yanas of the Ancient Nyingma tradition, with a particular focus on the Sutra, Tantra, and Dzogchen teachings.
Since 2010 until the present, he has shared the Dharma with sincerity and devotion in various countries including Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and India. In each place, he has offered whatever understanding he holds of the precious teachings to friends and students who show genuine interest in the path of Dharma, doing so with humility and a heartfelt wish to benefit others.
He now guides Dharma activities through centres established under the name King Gesar Temple of Ling, located in Taiwan,
Malaysia, and India. These centres serve as spaces of learning, practice, and compassionate service, inspired by the teachings and spirit of the Nyingma lineage.
