Lhoppön Rechungpa Rinpoche strongly asks that all Mipham Shedra sangha take part in person if possible. To receive empowerment, you must attend in person. Space is limited, and registrations are filling in rapidly, so please act as soon as possible.
Reserved seating only. All seats are reserved by name. Those not registered will be turned away at the door. Lhoppön Rechungpa Rinpoche encourages all practitioners, both new and experienced, to attend this auspicious event.
May this empowerment bring you closer to the path of enlightenment and deepen your practice.
Program Details
‘The Bardo Thodrol’ was composed in the 8th century by Padmasambhava, written down and buried by Yeshe Tsogyal, and discovered by Karma Lingpa. Additionally, it is important to know that the Bardo Thodrol stems from the Inner Tantra of Mahayoga. As such, it is an indispensable complement to the Guhyagarbha Tantra, which is being taught by Lhöppon Rechungpa Rinpoche in Mipham Shedra’s current class.
Most importantly, this retreat will be vital to your understanding of how to make your own death and dying a path to enlightenment.
Accordingly, Rinpoche strongly requests that, if possible, all Guhyagarbha students participate in this retreat.
SPECIAL GUEST: We are particularly pleased to announce that Kyabje Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche will be a guest teacher during a portion of this retreat. Kyabje Bhakha Tulku is a revered Tibetan Buddhist master. He is the tenth incarnation in the Bhakha Tulku lineage, and is also a reincarnation of Rigdzin Pema Lingpa, one of the Five Great Kingly Tertons (Treasure Revealers) in the Nyingma tradition. Not only will Bhakha Tulku give teachings, but he will bestow transmissions during this retreat.
