Lhoppön Rinpoche will give this very important teaching on Saturday and Sunday, March 16th to 17th.

Often overlooked in the West, the consecration of thankas and statues before placing them in our shrine as ritual objects is absolutely necessary.

Rinpoche will teach retreatants how to do the actual consecration of a thanka, by directing mantras, prayers, visualization and meditation to invoke the blessings of all the buddhas into that representation of enlightened body, speech, and mind. We will then have a powerful basis for the accumulation of merit and support for our samaya.
